Alise Matherson
Alise was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, with a concentration in pre-law, and a double minor in chemistry and philosophy. After graduating magna cum laude in 2021, she attended North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating with honors in 2024.
Alise’s experience includes two summers interning at a large law firm in Greensboro, where she worked in various practice groups. In law school, Alise was a Real Property I & II tutor and served as the President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. While in law school, Alise enjoyed real property, secured transactions, and evidence. Prior to joining Crawford & von Keller in January 2025, Alise practiced family law in Wake County.
In her free time, Alise enjoys reading and binge-watching TV shows
